Walla Walla Iris Society
Greetings from the Walla Walla Iris Society! We’re a group of iris
enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds who love iris in all its forms.
Club members hail from Prosser, to Pendleton. Our club was organized in
1950. Our mission is to promote the culture and interest in all forms of
iris.
Meetings are held at the Milton Freewater Community Building the
2nd Saturday of the month starting in February at 2:00pm. We also meet
at members homes for potlucks and other social gatherings. We have one
commercial garden within our membership that actively hybridizes and
introduces new iris for the club members and others to enjoy. We enjoy
meeting other garden club members and all are welcome to come and visit
our meetings.
We have members who are very knowledgeable and friendly
who would love to have the opportunity to spread the iris interest to
new people and our visitors.
We host two main events a year:
| 2010 Iris Show | 2009 Rhizome Sale |
| Free admission | July 25 & 26, 9am-5pm |
May 18, 2010 – 8 – Noon
| Many classic & newer irises at
