King County Iris Society
The King County Iris Society welcomes you! We are a group of
enthusiastic gardeners dedicated to enlightening fellow gardeners about the many
different types of iris available for enhancing any landscape. Our
members hale from many areas in the King, Snohomish and Pierce Counties in
Washington state. Our meetings are currently held at the University of
Washington's Center for Urban Horticulture.
First organized in 1946, the purpose of the King County Iris Society is
to study the genus Iris and promote its culture and improvement. All who
share this interest are welcome at all meetings and exhibitions and are
encouraged to join the Society in support of these endeavors.
Our website is chocked full of educational articles, culture information
and photos taken by our members. Details of our
current meeting Programs, Shows and Sales is also available!
